Fragrance Development Manager / Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:


(FDM 50%)
Fragrance development evaluation and collection build up;
Solid partner of perfumer, guiding them in their developments;
Project management, understand clients' requirement well, plan how to develop fragrances and recommends submission
adapted to brief parameters, arrange submission materials;
Constantly develops in-depth market product knowledge across categories;
Participates regularly to experts panels across categories;
Detects olfactive trends and needs for category (Marketing insight) and turns them into concrete fragrance solutions;
Manage evaluation comments, submission samples, safety check via Firmenich systems (Oxygen, Mimosa);
Mid/long term project planning based on both clients and categories perspective;
Presentations to clients;
Communication, networking internally and externally;
 
(Marketing 50%)
Create and share Japan market dynamics, new category/product trends in Japan with internal teams and external clients;
Adapt global marketing tools and materials into local context to promote Firmenich fragrances and expertise
Update information on new market launches, ensures fragrances appraisals are carried out and updated into Firmenich system (EN+)
Prepare materials and presentations e.g. concepts, submission decks to promote fragrance and solutions for clients
