Warehouse Inventory Operator

Shift work - 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 Monday – Friday
Starting salary is £28,614 (including 17% shift premium)
Salary upon completion of first level operator training £30,186 (including 17% shift premium)
This role is responsible for receiving and dispatching goods; ensuring outbound plans are met. Adheres to correct shipping standards when preparing finished goods and safely carries out all stock movements.

Your key responsibilities:
- Receiving goods in cooperation with T&D and Purchasing department
- Regular checks of inventory levels
- Weighing liquid components in cooperation with Production departments
- Consistently ensure that you keep your colleagues, and your work area are ‘safe’ and ‘food safe’ at all times.
- Required stock movements are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
- Safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles arriving at Firmenich.
- Attend a daily team meeting; QHSE, KPI’s, delivery, people etc.
- Cleaning of manual handing equipment; forklifts, VNA trucks, order pickers and electric pallet trucks (weekly)

You bring:
- Good level of general education (GCSE level)
- Experience within FMCG/Consumer goods or automation industry
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills required with experience of Office 365, Microsoft Teams
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Ability to cope under pressure and work flexibly.
