Application Technologist

The Application Technologist will be focusing on Savory category and will be reporting to the Application Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops innovative products and quality applications to answer client’s brief and internal projects
• Identify and use suitable product portfolio and technologies optimally for business opportunities
• Evaluate & review the flavour collection profile to suit local requirements
• Carry out administrative duties in completing formulation and project management requirement.
• Prepares flavour evaluation and sensory testing
• Collaborate with Regulatory/Flavourists to arrive at suitable submissions for respective projects.
• Participates in client presentations and visits and provide technical support
• Keeps updated in food ingredients and technologies
• Maintains and order flavour sample, flavour collection, raw materials and packaging materials through internal operating system
• Maintains application food laboratory practices- GMP, Health & Safety, Quality Management
• Maintains and operates laboratory tools and equipment
• Raise purchase orders and complete GR in the system for any laboratory purchases.

You bring:
• Diploma in Food Science and/or Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in savory product development/application (ideally with a protein focus – processed meat or meat analogues)
