R&D Food Science Senior Technician

Our R&D Center in Shanghai, China is looking for a motivated and reliable technician who will join our Food Science Laboratory.


Job Responsibility: 

  • Plan and conduct food fermentation and thermal reaction lab experiments 

  • Prepare and submit experimental samples for chemical analysis and sensory evaluation 

  • Participate in sensorial evaluations 

  • Document all work performed and results obtained in English, in a manner that is complete, accurate, well organized and easily understood by others 

  • Responsible for lab safety, equipment inspection, daily operation and maintenance 

  • Interact with other departments within the organization and external suppliers on obtaining starting materials, buying chemicals, etc. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 



Profile and Requirements: 

  • BSc or MSc in food science and technology, food fermentation, food microbiology or related field 

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in related lab work in any of the above fields 

  • Good knowledge of food chemistry and microbiology 

  • Highly responsible, able to plan and organize well, can work independently 

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools 

  • Team spirit, communicates well, motivated to learn 

  • Preferably, good command of English (listening, reading, writing) 





  • 根据研发课题的要求,负责设计和开展食品发酵和热反应相关的实验 

  • 实验样品制备,并递交到相关部门进行分析、感官评价 

  • 完整、准确、有条理地用英文记录试验现象和数据 

  • 负责实验室日常安全,设备检查、日常运行和维护 

  • 联系并协调公司内部其它部门,以及外部供应商,进行原料、化学品等的采购 

  • 执行其它要求完成的工作 




  • 食品科学、食品科技、食品发酵或食品微生物学相关专业,本科或硕士学历 

  • 至少一至三年以上跟以上领域相关实验室工作的实践经验 

  • 熟悉食品化学和微生物学 

  • 责任心和计划能力强,能独立工作 

  • 熟悉微软工具 

  • 团队精神,善于沟通,积极好学 

  • 最好具备良好的英语能力(听、读、写)
