Sugar Reduction Technology Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key global role in managing a large sugar reduction (SR) portfolio of ingredients, products / solutions
- Manage new raw material introduction process working closely with all internal and external partners
- Liaise with quality, regulatory, procurement and operations to ensure alignment and compliance
- Provide direct support to regional technical managers for all sugar reduction portfolio in terms of status, availability, priorities and support documents
- Support new SR product development with global SR colleagues
We value:
- Experience (technical and business acumen) in formulating foods and beverages with functional ingredients including sweeteners, technical flavors.
- Working knowledge of various types of sweeteners and modulators in the context of nutrition and health
- Organizational skills in particular decluttering and simplification of complex materials
- Proficiency in SAP and MS word, excel and power point programs
- Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
- REQUIRED: A bachelor or master’s degree in food science and technology or closely related subject with a minimum of 7 yr experience in the relevant food industry preferably in the food/flavor ingredient business or with MBA with at least 1-3 yr in business development.
