Sugar Reduction Technology Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key global role in managing a large sugar reduction (SR) portfolio of ingredients, products / solutions
  • Manage new raw material introduction process working closely with all internal and external partners
  • Liaise with quality, regulatory, procurement and operations to ensure alignment and compliance
  • Provide direct support to regional technical managers for all sugar reduction portfolio in terms of status, availability, priorities and support documents
  • Support new SR product development with global SR colleagues

We value:

  • Experience (technical and business acumen) in formulating foods and beverages with functional ingredients including sweeteners, technical flavors.
  • Working knowledge of various types of sweeteners and modulators in the context of nutrition and health
  • Organizational skills in particular decluttering and simplification of complex materials
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS word, excel and power point programs
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
  • REQUIRED: A bachelor or master’s degree in food science and technology or closely related subject with a minimum of 7 yr experience in the relevant food industry preferably in the food/flavor ingredient business or with MBA with at least 1-3 yr in business development.
