Facilities Manager-Princeton, New Jersey

Within the Global Workplace Solutions team, the Facilities Manager will direct, support and coordinate building services and maintenance activities that will deliver positive workplace experience services for employees. Services may be directly performed by Firmenich, or an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) partner in collaboration with this position.


Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the next generation Workplace Experiences for Firmenich employees through new designs of the space employees work in, providing smart technologies employees access at work, and crafting emotional connections with employees in the workplace that allows a stronger engagement.
- Develop annual operating and capital budgets, manage and ensure variances are accounted for, reconcile and adhere to all financial targets.
- Create Services Playbooks to document workflow processes, customer expectations; identify key performance indicators and service levels, as well as internal Stakeholder and Functional touch-points.
- Work closely with business units to develop Cap Ex business cases, present all investment proposals and execute all projects through effective project management processes.
- Oversee all Utilities processes including the tracking and reporting of Solar credits (SRECs), utility monitoring and accrual reporting, and track all usage, trending, and reporting in support of Firmenich’s Sustainability utility reduction goals.
- Manage all internal communications from development through issuance to all employees and affected departments.
- Support the oversight of employee safety throughout the facility in coordination with the IFM partner and other Firmenich internal departments.
- Lead, support, participate and nurture Firmenich’s Employee led “Change” committees on site.
- Ensures business continuity for critical services and property protection.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Hotel Management
- Facility management degree a plus
- 7-10 years of experience in Facility Management (progressive responsibilities) 
- Minimum 3 years industry experience a plus
- Experience in Vendor Relation Management (VRM)
- Facility Management certification a plus
- Ability to travel, approximate travel 10%
