Lab Technician - Princeton, NJ

 

As a Laboratory Technician you will support proactive and client-initiated fragrance and technology development projects for multi-national Consumer Packaged Goods companies in the Home Care category. You will support the high-quality execution of scientific studies and method development that result in winning fragrances and superior consumer-preferred benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Technical Development team you will support efforts to resolve technical issues on client-based and proactive projects, which include:

  • Troubleshooting fragrance - product interactions and providing remediation recommendations to Perfumers and Fragrance Development Managers
  • Running technical sensory panels
  • Cross-functional interaction, coordination, and planning/scheduling with Perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers, account teams, and sample labs
  • Conducting studies to support fragrance technology development
  • Record-keeping, report writing, and data presentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant or allied fields: chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, food science
  • 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience in the fragrance or allied industries
