Innovation Scientist - Princeton, NJ

Key Responsibilities:


•    Conduct experimental analyses on performance of various fragrance technologies and delivery systems
•    Independently lead, project manage and troubleshoot pipeline initiatives from validation to commercialization 
•    Method development, experimental design, sample preparation, collect and interpret data, and report/share findings with next steps via report and internal presentation  
•    Work closely with R&D colleagues and collaborators to apply relevant analytical protocols
•    Document the work via research reports and peer presentations
•    Contribute to innovation in Luxe and Prestige Fragrance and the generation of IP

 

Requirements:


•    BS/MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
•    3-5 years of industrial or academic laboratory experience
•    Familiarity with GC-MS static and dynamic headspace analysis equipment and basic analytical techniques
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Experience with Agilent MassHunter software is preferred but not required and ability to quickly learn new systems/software is desirable 
•    Experience in fragrance design and physiochemical properties is preferred
