As a I&E Technician, you will be working to support the plant’s day-to-day operations around quality.  You’ll be supported by your team with the possibility to grow into a Supply Chain Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical distribution panels.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all 480vac to 24vdc plant electrical systems and Motor Control Center.
• Use EI&C, Mechanical and Operational skills to be able to troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment (fillers, conveyors, drives, packers, palletizers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot PLCs, Delta V, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives and other electronically controlled equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Melter Toledo scales.
• Provide on-going support for evolving machine controls needs and provide the daily support required to maintain the manufacturing systems by maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying/editing EIC systems, technologies, and documentation.

You bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years practical or work experience in electrical & instrumentation field
• PLC-5, SLC-500, Control Logix 5000, Delta V, Siemens, and GE
• Experience with the Utilities, Process, and Machine Controls systems below Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and ISA standards
• Experience with Power Distribution Systems up to and including 480VAC with working knowledge of the N.E.C. and strong experience with basic electrical tools (Meggers, Amp meters, Volt meters, conduit tools, etc.).
• Knowledge of GMPs and safe working habits in a chemical facility
