Finance Support Supervisor- Princeton, NJ

 

 

We have an immediate opportunity for a Finance Support Supervisor to join the Finance team based in Princeton, NJ.  This role will support the current outsourced payable process and be involved in the future transformation to a digitalized / centralized global AP platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current process of receipt and scanning of all invoices to BPO Partner
  • Ensure all invoices received in a shared mailbox are printed, checked and scanned within 24 hours
  • Review, research, and where possible correct rejected invoices
  • Administrate shared mailbox
  • First level review of payment proposals for three affiliates
  • Regular review of open payables to ensure all invoices are being paid according to terms 
  • Administration and reconciliation of Petty Cash
  • Oversee manual payment process
  • Oversee organization and maintenance of payable documents
  • Supervision of filing
  • Label creation
  • Manage departmental questions and issues with BPO partner and with internal customers when appropriate
  • Responsible for the management and development of one staff member
  • Participate in conversion of current manual AP processes to digitalization
     

We value:

  • Experience with MS Office
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Accounting and/or ERP systems.  Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Some knowledge / exposure to project management
  • Research/Investigative /Crisis resolution skills

 

Requirements:

  • Accounting or Business degree with concentration in Accounting
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes strongly preferred
  • Detail oriented, with ability to manage priorities
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
