Director of Operations - Princeton, NJ




We have an immediate opportunity for a Director of Operation to join the manufacturing team based in Princeton. The Director Of Operations has overall responsibility for the safety, quality, service and productivity of the Perfumery manufacturing units and Perfumery Sample Lab activities.  Key responsibilities include driving strong and positive safety and quality performance, and driving transformational changes for processes and productivity improvements.  This position is also responsible for understanding and developing plans to meet and adjust to changing market demands. 


Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for all QHSE regulatory compliance issues
•Champions safety culture change activities
•Manages capacity to meet seasonal and fluctuating demand to maintain high customer service levels
•Drives tactical and strategic quality improvements to meet global quality targets
•Provides strategic input for 3-5 year capital and production planning
•Interfaces affiliates, support functions, suppliers and customers as needed
•Develops and manages annual budgets for the PE operating units
•Partners with Human Resources for all performance management and improvements to plant capabilities
•Develops and drives plant KPIs, goals and objectives and QHSSE actions plans
•Provide leadership for the implementation and execution of the HS&E policy, procedures, operator performance and local HS&E improvement plans
•Communicates business results to Supply Chain workforce
•Responsible for financial performance including expense budget and inventory management

•B.S. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related scientific field.
•Advanced degree desired
•15+ years of prior plant leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing environment
