Automation Reliability Engineer, Princeton NJ

Key Responsibilities:

 

•    Provide direction, technical support and mentoring to the Maintenance Department’s staff to meet plant equipment uptime targets. · 
•    Develop schedule and execute RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) program ·
•    Job is heavily weighted on continual process optimization improvements to maximize asset uptime and output through increased automation
•    Drive cost reduction through reliability and automation: · 
•    Identify the plant’s critical equipment and instruments and develop the spare parts program.
•    Develop, maintain, and optimize the Preventive Maintenance program for the plant 
•    Maintain PM procedures & tasks, generate equipment maintenance strategies for: - RCM review and critical equipment selection - Generate equipment maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive) based upon RCM results
•    Solid project management skills for capital installations up to $250K
•    Develop and monitor standard maintenance metrics: MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), equipment availability.
•    Partnering and collaboration with Production and Maintenance Technicians for efficient PM maintenance scheduling
•    Develop the gate keeper process, execution and implementation

 

Requirements:


•    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or related field
•    Five (5) years of experience of professional experience working with Food/Chemical/Pharmaceutical process industry machinery and instrumentation
•    Working knowledge and application of Risk Based Inspection & Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and concepts.
•    Knowledge of cGMP standards pertaining to manufacturing operations is an asset.
•    Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.  
•    Project management skills 
•    Expertise in plant automation maintenance and design
