Looking for a motivated, passionate Jr. Account Manger to develop and grow new business. This individual should experience in perfumery sales is comfortable with client outreach to grow new clients, as well as nurture existing business. Overall goal is to drive incremental and profitable revenue for the company by passionately engaging with clients and being a strong contributor to a collaborative team.

Your key responsibilities
- Scout and bring in and develop new business opportunities, define account objectives, develop commercial strategy, implement through account plan.
- Develop successful working relationships with (new and existing) clients, establish Firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business.
- Monitor client satisfaction and initiate corrective action where needed while identifying business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria.
- Obtain clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into Firmenich projects; brief creation and development teams and drive projects towards the best possible solution for both the client and Firmenich.
- Build the account sales budget annually, on-going monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.
- Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance/flavor/ingredient submissions), as well as manage products life cycle, demand planning, customer care and supply chain.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in commercial sales role
- Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize, and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, successfully develop client relationship to position Firmenich as a key business partner.
- Extended brand/product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for fragrance.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to clients and to demonstrate Firmenich competitiveness, strong sales, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong business sense and industry experience, with a strong track record of success, growing a business, providing business solutions, good understanding of market segments with the ability to drive client initiatives from creation to completion.
