In this role our ideal candidate will serve as a lead regulatory support for DSM Firmenich’s Taste Texture and Health (TTH) North America team flavor and ingredient technologies. Will deliver exceptional customer service on projects, programs and/or processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

Your key responsibilities

• Accountable for regulatory compliance support of flavors, experience with TTB and beverage flavor-based systems is a plus, both alcoholic and non- alcoholic.
• Provide customers and business partners with answers to product labelling and compliance-related questions as well as creative compliance options.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finding regulatory solutions for flavor labelling topics
• Identify opportunities to leverage regulatory as a strategic partner for DSM-Firmenich
• Drive efficiencies and look to continuously improve upon ways of working and best in class delivery of services to our customers.
• Keep up to date with latest industry regulations that directly impact the TTH portfolio as well as overall flavor and beverage technologies.
• Responsible for providing customer compliance documentation such as food allergen, genetically modified food, gluten free and religious 3rd party certification suitability.

You bring

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or closely related discipline (Nutrition, Chemistry, Toxicology) with a minimum of 5 years food regulatory experience, TTB regulatory experience is a plus
• Experience with US and Canadian flavor regulations
• Strong collaboration skills
• Able to work in a fast paced and agile environment.
• High attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer software skills (excel, word, SAP, etc.)
