Your key responsibilities
- Prepare samples for sensory studies and run sensory panels by meticulously following protocols and instructions.
- Accomplish retention and recruitment of panelists via online surveys, website, etc.
- Identify problems, analyze possible causes, and suggest improvements in methods, techniques, and equipment.
- Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, document procedures, and update lab notebook.
- Assist with data analyses, literature searches, and software programming of sensory tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., olfactometer).

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Psychology, or related field; exceptional seniors will be considered. At least 1+ year of paid lab experience strongly preferred. General knowledge of sensory science, food science, or neuroscience. High comfort level with learning new software and hardware.
