We have an immediate opportunity for a Global Sales Director, Sweeteners to join our Taste, Texture and Health BU. We have completed several strategic initiatives in taste modulation which provide us with a set of discovery tools and commercial products that are uniquely positioned to address the challenge of sugar reduction. The Global Sales Director will play a key role in the development of the Sweeteners business activity.

Your key responsibilities
• Lead commercial activities globally for selected Channels.
• Lead our business development activities with markets to continuously assess opportunities and potential gaps and initiate actions to address them.
• Develop new business opportunities
• Combine strategic thinking with the ability to develop a coherent strategy and implement execution plans

You bring
• Bachelor’s Degree with strong business finance acumen and relevant commercial (Sales or Business Development) experience in food ingredients and preferably in plant-derived sweeteners.
• Entrepreneurial and resilient attitude with the ability to establish connections at various levels (from R&D / NPD scientists to customers).
• Ability to work with stakeholders of various profiles internally, with clients and external partners & Suppliers.
• Ability to travel (principally in the Americas and to a more limited extent in Europe
• English proficiency is a must.
• Attention to details and performance-driven.
