Your mission:
  •    Support the Global sourcing manager fruits in developing & implementing end to end business aligned sourcing strategies for Fractions category – Including risk mitigation strategies and responsible sourcing
•    Source and introduce new raw materials: identify potential suppliers, lead RFI/RFQ/RFP, follow up samples approval and request/review appropriate documentations
•    Collaborate with S&OP team (Operations, Planning, Business, Finance) for monthly demand projections and fulfillment planning
•    Propose, lead and implement improvement and development projects
•    Engage and develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (business, regulatory, quality, etc.)
•    Take charge of Fractions category and drive negotiations of supply agreements with suppliers focusing on key identified criteria – Quality, Service Delivery, Operational Improvements, Total Cost of Ownership, Sustainability, etc.

You bring :
•    Degree from University or College in Engineering, Economics, Business administration, Science, Agronomy
•    3 years of experience in purchasing (Internship and Apprenticeship included), preferably in the food industry
•    Demonstrate Firmenich 5 winning behaviors: Growth Mindset, Proactivity, Absolute Customer Focus, Data driven, Impact Obsessed
•    Demonstrate active listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Independent & curious mindset
•    Extremely good communication & influencing skills
•    Fluent written and spoken English, basic level of Portuguese 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Basic ERP & query skillset (SAP experience preferred)"
