dsm-firmenich is currently seeking an in-house counsel to join its commercial legal team (CL) supporting the Perfumery and Beauty Business Unit (P&B) globally. The position is based in Paris or in DAX, France. The successful candidate will report to Vice President – Head of Legal P&B and will primarily provide contractual support across P&B business / functions and project-based work on a global level.

Your key responsibilities
- Review, draft, analyze, and negotiate a range of commercial transactions and related agreements, such as sales, distribution, tolling/subcontracting, sourcing agreements, sustainability collaborations.
- Provide legal support to Firmenich’s P&B Business in the EMEA region and globally as required
- Take care of corporate secretarial support for certain legal entities.
- Legal research.
- Project work with members of the P&B CL team and/or the Global CL team, and/or cross functional.
- Supports P&B CL team with their activities as required and any other matters as per instruction of Senior Management

- Strong interpersonal skills, including optimism, diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel at many different levels, customers and business partners to work effectively in a cross-functional/multi-cultural global teams.
