ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Neuilly sur Seine, France

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage key existing customers in France and hunt for new ones. Deliver sales growth and margin targets.
  • Develop commercial strategy : identify business opportunities, decision factors, success criteria and define action plans accordingly
  • Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives
  • Maintain and develop successful working relationship throughout customers organization. Establish Firmenich as key partner
  • Get clear and complete briefing from clients. Manage the project pipeline and secure high hit rate
  • Negotiate with clients commercial terms and conditions
  • Efficiently communicate with all internal partners: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction
  • Ensure that you have an average of 8-10 clients interactions per week

 

We value:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Technology / Food Science / Commercial
  • Technical knowledge in beverages
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in flavors / ingredients sales for the beverage industry
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in product development in the beverage industry
  • Business acumen (pricing, sales & profitability, expenses, overdues...)
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize and implement action plans
  • Opportunistic with “hunter” mindset and agile in a complex matrix organization
  • Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Digitally savvy & computer literacy
  • Influencing abilities and confidence in operating in matrix organizations
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 2-3 days per week on average for client and internal purposes
