Our Sr. Account Manager - Global Accounts will excel in crafting strategic accounts plans to fulfill internal and client objectives. While working with our cross-functional teams to lead innovation and effective service delivery and coordinate internals resources efficiently, scaling up wins for production. Our Sr. Account Manager will anticipate client needs; proactively generate new opportunities, monitor the market, and manage budgets, ensuring growth and success. This role is a hybrid 4-day on-site opportunity.

Your key responsibilities:
- Create a solid, strategic, and visionary Account Plan to meet both internal and client objectives. Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations, and implement, monitor and drive the Account Plan with all aspects of Sales (pricing strategy, short, mid & long-term sales goals, profitability improvement), Marketing and Innovation.
- Communicate the account plan across the different internal departments and lead the organization by setting priorities while developing, leading and nurturing highly effective and impactful cross functional team dynamic to deliver best in class fragrances and service.
- Coordinate and manage internal resources in support of customer needs and priorities, ensuring the most efficient management of Firmenich resources.
- Collaborate with demand planning, customer care and operations to plan and scale-up new wins to production.
- Anticipate clients’ needs and establish a solid proactive program to generate new business opportunities.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information.
- Accountable for sales and profit budgets while following KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary. Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget etc. for each account and identify/create opportunities for Firmenich to participate in targeted briefs.

You bring:
- Proven track record in driving dynamic growth and high impact business and strategic results
- Proven track record in client relationships and value creation
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work with diverse clients and team members at all levels
- REQUIRED – Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree appreciated with 5-10+ years’ experience in strategic fine fragrance accounts
- Strong analytical skills, problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels
