Production System Manager - New Ulm, MN

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of Firmenich Process System (FPS) content / including local translations & adjustments to local needs and culture
  • Lead  the deployment of FPS in his scope of responsibility (plant)
  • Design the yearly plant Continuous Improvement plan and ensure its alignment with One Operation strategy and targets
  • Lead & coach specific projects on sites or regionally. Lead Kaizen events, problem solving, Operations Time Analysis as part of practical training
  • Perform / support the training and/ or experience development of managers and other personal involved in continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure the consistency with FPS of standards, tools and methodologies applied locally

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science or Engineering, with an advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years leading CI/ Lean Six Sigma type improvements projects
  • Lean – Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Master certification preferred with PMP certification is a plus
  • Analytical skills to be proficient in Six-Sigma.
  • Equivalent to black belt certification
  • Related experience in CI and/or Operations management
