I&E Technician - New Ulm, MN

Key Responsibilities:

•    Monitor, repair, maintain and troubleshoot all field instrumentation, electrical equipment and control systems including plant safety systems and plant power systems.
•    Install, loop check, maintain and troubleshoot process control systems comprised of transmitters, controllers, and valves, PLCs, and DCS systems.
•    Calibrate, monitor, repair, maintain and document all field instruments such as transmitters, controllers, valves, PLCs, plant safety systems, plant power systems, pH and conductivity meters
•    Evaluate current instrumentation technology for process equipment
•    Monitor E/I maintenance requirements and ensure all work orders are completed and closed out properly in the CMMS system.   
•    Review instrumentation and control diagrams for as-built accuracy and completeness.
•    Based on field experience, provide input towards improving the efficiency of the preventative maintenance program.
•    Other duties as assigned.


•    High School Diploma or GED 
•    A minimum of 10 years I&E experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
•    Familiar with DCS (preferably Emerson Delta V) and PLC based control systems in a manufacturing enviornment
