Commercial Director, Perfumery - Mumbai


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own all commercial activities with a customer in a region or segment.
    Define account objectives, develop strategy (identify potential, competitive landscape, resources etc.), implement through account plan.
  • Define and validate pricing and margin parameters for projects in the respective zone/segment according to guidelines. Lead projects with clients and internal partners (establish boundaries, agree success criteria, allocate and co-ordinate resources, especially of remote).
  • Manage products life cycle with to ensure high level of service to clients and good working practices for Firmenich.
  • Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives
    Optimize the account profitability with portfolio profitability improvement projects (as well as portfolio rationalization projects)
  • Oversee the entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction.
  • Manage, coach and develop commercial assistant and sales team if any


We value:


  • 5-7 years of successful flavor/fragrance/ingredient sales experience, ideally international
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...).
