Please note that this is a short term contract.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake behavioral measurement experiments in the lab on arthropods
  • Design and plan own experiments, ensuring timely delivery based on established priorities
  • Independent on established procedures and able to propose improvements
  • Develop new experimental setup/protocol in order to solve specific scientific and/or applied question
  • Guarantee quality and reproducibility of data and data interpretation
  • Report own work in the form of research reports, publications and presentations at project meetings, thus contributing to decision-making processes


We value:

  • PhD degree in entomology and/or chemical ecology
  • Master different technics of behavioral measurement in the lab, experience with flying insects and hematophagous arthropods would be needed
  • Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a multidisciplinary and international environment
  • Previous experience on applied projects or in industry R&D laboratory would be a plus
  • Fluent in English, ability to communicate in French would be a plus
