Key Responsibilities

• Drive the site’s mission and objectives within Quality, following the Global and Regional strategy, to meet business and customers' requirements
• Manage, coach, develop the quality Control team  
• Lead and organize daily department assignments:
  • Batch release/rejection
  • Equipment calibration
  • Non-conformity: customer linked analytical/ sensory profile, supplier non-conformity   
  • Lead and monitor key quality project                                                                                                                    
  • Respect health, safety, hygiene, quality and environment rules applicable on site                                             
• Budget Management 

You bring:

• BSc in scientific related field, such as biochemistry, chemistry, food industry OR relevant similar 5-10 years experience in quality control, with thorough knowledge of flavours, raw materials, microbiology, sensory)
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with diverse stakeholders
• Rigorous and data-driven, able to make decision autonomously and work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced IT skills (MS Office suite, Lims, SAP, etc.)
• Technically proficient/ knowledgeable in the following chemical procedures and physical measurements (wet chemistry): GC, GCMS, HPLC, water content, optical rotation and other standard tests
• Good knowledge in quality management system (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14000)
• Relevant people management experience with strong mental agility
• Fluent in French (C2) and English (C1)
