Drive and coordinate Corporate Communications in the Regions/Countries and manage the Corporate Communications Talent Pool. This leadership position is responsible to ensure consistent implementation of Corporate Communications priorities in the local markets and facilitate two-way communication between global and the regions/countries. The position plays a pivotal role in developing team capabilities, fostering global collaboration and driving local execution, consistently.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead and enable the regional Communications teams (NAM/LAM, APAC/China, EMEA, Global/CH)
- Act as the linking pin between global and regional teams to ensure the adoption of global policies and consistency of messaging in key languages
- Monitor employee allocation, skills allocation and workload to provide insight into capacity & flexibility to adapt resources
- Ensure regional representation and pride is brought to internal and external communication
- Support the internationalization of the group by stimulating talent
- Support delivery of the global comms priorities: events, townhalls, comms channels, awareness campaigns stakeholder engagement etc. according to the plans

You bring
- An academic degree with a broad, global business view
- Strong business acumen and good understanding of dsm-firmenich products and markets
- 10+ years’ experience in internal & external Communications
- Experience in leading cross-cultural teams in an agile environment
- Exceptional planning and project management skills
- Experience building capabilities and mentoring a team
Important notes
This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades’ design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles’ nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered for those whose new position turns out to be graded lower than their current position. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees from the moment the candidate moves into their new position.
