Advise and provide Communications support to the respective Business Partner function head/s, managing implementation of Group Communications plans. This position is responsible for effectively conveying both, the BP function’s and Group Communications objectives, fostering employee engagement, promoting innovation and communicating strategy and change. The position plays a pivotal role in in crafting and delivering impactful communications to engage employees within the respective BP function and disseminate insights and success stories to all employees and external audiences.

Your key responsibilities
- Advise and counsel the respective BP function head/s to enable effective communications
- Develop and execute communication plans to inform, engage and inspire employees of the respective BP Function
- Develop a compelling narrative and stories that convey the BP functions strategy, successes and impact
- Enable and support functional leaders for public speaking and interview opportunities
- Shape agenda & messaging and facilitate functional events, town halls & key internal meetings
- Act as custodian of the corporate branding and values and ensure consistent messaging
- Ensure and drive two-way communication between Group Communications and the BP function through stories, best practice sharing and raising functional needs and issues

You bring
- An academic degree in Communications or Business
- High level of seniority and a track record in working with and consulting C-level managers
- 10 years of wide-ranging experience in a corporate communications role
- High level of proficiency in English and at least one other language
- Adeptness in translating complex concepts into engaging stories
- Personal characteristics: communicative, networker, flexible, diplomatic, strategic, cope with high pressure, professional, representative, persuasive, pro-active and culturally sensitive
Important notes
This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades’ design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles’ nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered for those whose new position turns out to be graded lower than their current position. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees from the moment the candidate moves into their new position.
