Marketing Manager

This position is co-responsible for the results of the categories under them. Partners with Commercial Force (Local ACM´s and Client Managers) & Technical Manager. Responsible for ensuring the long-term growth of the business assigned.

Your key responsibilities
•    Developing marketing tools at local or category level to promote dsm-firmenich/ Firmenich flavor solutions and develop the market.
•    Support client's product developments by providing marketing knowledge to select the most relevant flavors solutions. Ensure the right marketing support to maximize dsm-firmenich/Firmenich’s chances to win/defend business. Manage proactive and reactive projects with excellence, working closely with technical teams to ensure relevant, business oriented product developments.
•    Deploy Regional & Local strategies at category/market level; identify with commercial teams future opportunities to develop the business and action plans to go after them.- Ensure the right portfolio of flavor solutions for the category/market and promote it accordingly. Fill the gaps when needed with technical teams.
•    Commercial assets as marketing driving sales increase and being an active agent to transform business opportunities into sales.
•    To have close contact with Account Managers to discuss/identify opportunities of new businesses, Client moves and request and tactic action in order to brief the respective teams
•    To understand market drivers, consumer behaviors, players and brand of the market assigned. Knowledge about new launches in the category. Competition analysis/ presence in the markets.

You bring
•    Degree in marketing, social science, business administration or equivalent.  
•    At least 5 years’ experience at management level within the Food, Flavor and Food Ingredient industries.
•    Advanced English
•    Marketing skills 
•    Good communication, attention to detail and project management
•    Commitment with deadlines and multitasking.
•    Continuous Improvement Mindset, Leadership, Courage to be Innovative
