Account Manager

Location: Mexico City - México.

The professional will be responsible for the business success, by ensuring pro-active plans are in place to support future according to objectives, establishing dsm-firmenich as the clients’ key partner, winning projects, and selling profitably.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the business, by an efficient project management to deliver high win rate and risk management;
• Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly;
• Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities;
• Lead projects originated in the region establishing resources & manage timelines;
• Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines, and make sure profitability is as expected;
• Manage an innovation pipeline per client making sure business is healthy and sufficient, ensuring short-, mid- and long-term growth, and ensure transparent and effective communication for solutions across different departments, marketing, Consumer Insights, technical, procurement and supply chain.

You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, sales/marketing;
• Fluent English (excellent written and verbal skills).
• Solid experience in managing projects across the value chain (Operations, Service level agreements, supply chain projects).
• Genuine Leadership and a true team player, seen as a strong partner by the diverse teams involved in clients’ projects.
• Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, self-drive, adaptable to different environments and clients. Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Business acumen (pricing, sales & profitability, expenses, client overdue...).
