Senior Sensory Technician

 

Location: London, United Kingdom

Temporary contract (6 months minimum)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage efficiently the panels by planning and coordinating recruitment and screening of new panelists and by monitoring performance and initiating appropriate training programs
  • To manage and deliver sensory projects by recommending and applying appropriate methodologies to meet project objectives, analyzing, interpreting, reporting and presenting the results to ensure key insights are communicated in the business,
  • To manage and ensure the optimum working of sensory facilities (booths, labs, computers/software, databases etc.) and appropriate supply of any materials used.
  • To work closely with Firlon Sensory Team to ensure good coordination of projects so that all sensory duties and responsibilities are completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • To support the Sensory team in preparing samples and in running sensory evaluation if required
  • To support development of new methodologies and protocols
     
     

We value:

  • Sensory Science Background with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field with a Sensory/Consumer Science focus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sensory test and panel management role.
  • Professional level of English
  • Excellent planning, organizational and presentation skills
