The Country HR BP plays a critical role in aligning the HR strategy with the business objectives of the organization. This position serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and provides HR guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs/initiatives at country level.

Your key responsibilities


HR BP scope:

  • HR Planning: Collaborate with senior country leadership and business stakeholders to develop and implement HR plans that support business goals and drive organizational performance. Conduct regular assessments of HR needs, workforce planning, and talent acquisition strategies to ensure the availability of a skilled and diverse workforce. Provide insights and recommendations on HR trends, best practices, and innovative approaches to enhance HR programs and processes.
  • Employee Relations and Performance Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution. Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Analyze performance data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in employee performance and engagement.
  • Talent Development and Succession Planning: Identify key talent and high-potential employees, working closely with managers to develop and implement robust development plans. Collaborate with corporate HR and learning and development teams to deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies. Drive succession planning efforts by identifying critical roles, assessing talent readiness, and implementing strategies to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the Regional Total Rewards lead or compensation and benefits team to design and implement competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations regarding compensation, benefits, and employment practices. Provide guidance on salary administration, incentive programs, and rewards and recognition initiatives
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Interpret and communicate corporate HR policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits to assess HR compliance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate HR-related risks and resolve any legal issues related to HR practices
  • L&D: Ensure everyone had access to relevant information on the Company’s development strategies and access to tools. Supports the Regional lead in the training life-cycle, including needs analysis, training strategy, training development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and tools

You bring

 

 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR BP or in a similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and other HR-related software

 

Important notes

 

This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades’ design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles’ nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered for those whose new position turns out to be graded lower than their current position. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees from the moment the candidate moves into their new position.
