Account Manager - Business Development [Temp]

Location: Kerpen, (Germany)


Temporary position for 1 year


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop successful working relationship with client contacts at any level focusing on New Business Development and Eastern Europe
  • Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly
  • Establish Firmenich as clients’ key partners by managing successfully all client interactions, and get all possible clients’ briefs
  • Get clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into Firmenich projects, and brief internal partners
  • Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients
  • Preparation of sales analysis and reports


We value:


  • Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...) and a minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in marketing / sales or commercial apprenticeship as well as at least 3-5 years professional experience in marketing / sales
  • Good understanding of business, sales role and objectives and ability to develop successfully client relationship
  • Ability to define and prioritize action plans according to business opportunities and success factors
  • Good team player, seen as a strong partner by the development teams involved in clients’ projects
  • Computer literacy - English and local language
