We are looking for a highly engaged and open minded individual, capable to take over the role as Account Manager Perfumery in our Germany team.
You will be part of a high-performance team and ensure we continue to delivery our ambitious revenue and profitability targets while playing an active role in utilizing top line synergies of the new DSM-Firmenich organization.

Your key responsibilities
- Define account objectives, develop commercial strategy through account plan to drive profitable sales growth
- Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients, establish DSM-Firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business
- Negotiate with clients favorable commercial terms, including payment terms, prices for new business and increases for existing items
- Get clear and complete briefing from clients and translate their needs into Firmenich projects
- Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities
- Partner internally with cross-functional teams (Fragrance Development, Marketing, Innovation etc.) to create holistic value propositions for clients
- Build account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus given objectives
- Identify gaps and needs in client portfolio and set-up proactive plans to increase and defend market share
- Identify and document business potentials and competitive landscape
- Manage products life cycle, demand planning, customer care and supply chain efficiency to ensure high level of service to clients

You bring
- Minimum of 3-5 years of flavor/fragrance/ingredient sales experience, sales/marketing experience in FMCG
- Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...)
- Ability to drive for results, with a competitive mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player who has leadership skills and persistence
- Computer literacy - fluent in English and German
