Global Head of Quality Operations, Taste, Texture

Location: Flexible Global, Preference for a European site

Place of work: Hybrid

Reporting to the Global Head of Quality of the Taste, Texture and Health Business Unit of dsm-firmenich, you will be responsible for Quality Operations globally. You will lead a group of 6 Quality Regional leaders across Americas, EMEA and APAC to set Quality has a key differentiator enabling business growth while safeguarding the company, its customers, and the consumers. 

You will be part of the BU Quality Leadership team, shaping the future of dsm-firmenich Quality and you will ensure strategy is translated operationally to meet quality objectives. 

The position location is flexible, even though Europe is a preferred zone for this global operational role.

Your key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the TTH Quality Leadership team, defining BU Quality Strategy and translating it into operational strategy, regional roadmaps, programs, and targets,
• Foster a culture of product protection, quality, compliance, and customer focus at all operational levels, promoting effective quality management and continuous improvement.
• Manage regional quality Leads and develop a business and solution partner high-performing Quality teams across the regions,
• Drive quality performance building strong partnership with regional Commercial, Supply Chain, and manufacturing leaders,
• Prioritize and drive regional quality programs supporting business growth, BU targets, and customer satisfaction.

You bring:

• Master's degree in food science, food engineering, and / or Chemistry, quality management
• 10+ years of experience in a managerial role in the food, flavor, ingredients, or pharma Industry
• Experience leading and working with diverse and cross-functional international teams
• A people leader experienced in change management, with excellent communication and influential skills, and great business acumen, 
• Understand the bigger picture beyond own functional area,
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and timeline and work in fast paced environment
• Proficient in English, other languages are assets.
