Center of Excellence (CoE) MANAGER - CL 15

 for region North America

Main Task:

The key activities of the CoE Manager North America who will be based in Toluca, Mexico are:

The person in charge of this position:

  • The CoE Manager is the main point of contact for Operations and CSN related to Missing Parts (Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Goods, External Manufacturing Items. The CoE Manager must ensure that all issues are managed/either locally, regionally or with the right level of escalation to the global sourcing team.
  • The CoE Manager must successfully liaise with key stakeholders spread all over the Region North America (7 plants). Perfumery/Ingredients and Flavors.
  • Manages Full implementation at local level of sourcing strategies defined by the Raw Materials Category Managers/Directors for key raw materials. Consignment of Raw Materials Implementation.
  • Recognizes and appropriately acts upon supplier development opportunities.
  • Supports Supplier Audit Program, Audit, and Follow on Actions; Monitors and follows up actions with Sourcing Managers/Directors.
  • Manages Supplier Performance (Quality, Punctuality, Lead-time compliance & service) and facilitate Major Non Conformance closure (delivery and quality).
  • Participates to continuous improvement projects aiming at creating value for Firmenich (Lead-time Reduction, SMI, SMOI, SOI, Forecast Collaboration , SCI

Reports to CoE  Zonal Director –Américas -, Interacts with Raw Materials category managers, works closely with Regional Supply chain, QHSE, Compliance (grs) and Finance, has Cross functional relationship other related functions. Has very closed interaction with peers based in Brazil, and México


Industrial Engineering, Industrial Administration or equivalent


5 years’ experience in F&F, Food or similar Process Industries, experienced buyer-planner more than 5 years proved working experience.

Fluent English written and spoken
