As the HR Lead for Learning and Development, you will represent the highly dynamic and exciting local and regional Learning & development team and work closely with the Global learning team to roll out strategic and operational Learning & development programs and initiatives that are tailored to local requirements and needs. You will partner with regional or local business, function and HR leaders in order to ensure best in class learning solutions to develop and deploy the new culture. You will identify retention opportunities/initiatives to support the business of dsm-firmenich.

Your key responsibilities
- Define an accomplished learning and development local strategy within Budget aligned with the region.
- Support and coordinate Talent discussions and developments as needed, in the country and region, in partnership with HRBPs.
- Drive the local development programmes for all levels in alignment with company engagement targets based on a local retention and succession plans
- Lead the Learning and development agendas for the country in collaboration with third party providers and internal stakeholders (e.g. talent, performance, development, etc)
- Ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues from Talent & Culture, HRSS and HR effectiveness to drive a learning and development approach.
- Create, plan and deploy learning and development solutions improving retention KPIs and employee career path opportunities.
- This role will lead a small team of Local D&I as well as Engagement employees

You bring
- A skilled Learning and Development profile with a minimum of 10 years working experience.
- Solid knowledge of and experience in both operational and functional expertise in Learning and Development and how it connects to both HR and organizational strategy.
- Solid understanding of the employment marketplace and trends Learning and Development solutions.
- A curious mind and empathic/proactive leader with an ability to think in a creative and solution focused manner.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills where you embrace taking ownership and do not shy away from a challenge.
- Fluent in English and ideally Spanish.
Important notes
This job title is temporary and will be adjusted once the job grading structure for the new Group will be adopted (covering among others: grades’ design, job evaluations, calibration, and job titles’ nomenclature). Until these adjustments are finalized, current compensation packages will be grandfathered for those whose new position turns out to be graded lower than their current position. This temporary period will last not more than 24 months for the legacy DSM Executives or legacy FIR SLT members, and not more than 12-18 months for all other employees from the moment the candidate moves into their new position.
