Global Senior Sourcing Manager - Princeton, NJ

Our preferred location is Princeton, NJ; other locations considered: Brazil, Spain, Mexico and Europe.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement end to end sourcing strategies for key Citrus & other Fruit tonalities – develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Build strategic supplier relationships, driving commercial, sustainable, innovation and performance initiatives
  • Manage key internal stakeholders. Work with key Senior Purchasing Leaders, Flavor Division Commercial Leads, key members of Citrus S&OP
  • Drive negotiations with suppliers focusing on key identified criteria – Quality, Service Delivery, Operational Improvements, Total Cost of Ownership etc.
  • Manage supplier(s) – improve key suppliers metrics
  • Collaborate with S&OP team (One Operations, Planning, Business, Finance) for monthly demand projections and fulfillment planning
  • Track and consolidate market data / intelligence – map global supply, import/export data, weather etc.
  • Provide latest supply coverage, price and savings estimates


  • Degree from University or College in Engineering, Economics, Business administration, Science, Agronomy
  • Possess 7 – 10 years of experience in Procurement (Flavors & Fragrance industry, Food, Citrus, Naturals or Ingredients business is a plus)
  • Demonstrate ability to lead in teams, experienced in project mgt. in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Extremely good communication & influencing skills
  • Strong at internal and external stakeholder management
  • Experienced Negotiator
  • Fluent written and spoken English, good level of Spanish preferred.  Portuguese & French is a plus
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word); Basic ERP & Query skillset (SAP experience preferred)
