Food and Flavor Reaction Process Engineer

 


Location: Geneva, Switzerland
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ideate, Invent new Ingredients to enrich the Global Flavorists Palette focusing on Natural Solutions and Meat Tonality.
  • Develop on lab scale reproducible ingredients considering Project objectives in terms of Sensory performance, Concentration, Regulatory status and Cost target estimate.
  • Optimize and validate developments with Project managers, Flavorists, Human Insights, Corporate Research, Purchasing, External partners, Chefs.
  • Validate regulatory status compliance with Regulatory Affairs on a global level.
  • Collaborate with industrialization teams on up-scaling and process transfer of products developed in lab.
  • Generate new ideas for development by connecting regularly with Research, Process Engineering teams, Supply chain, Academic partners or suppliers to cross-fertilize and foster a stimulating and innovative working environment.

 

We value:

 

  • Food chemistry (science/technology) or Biochemistry and Food background, Ph.D, minimum Master Degree, 
  • Min. 5 year industrial experience in reaction flavor chemistry and / or meat transformation (broth industry, meat extracts, powders, stocks…) or applied research. 
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Self-motivated, practical, autonomous, curious, open-minded with good communication and networking skills
  • Able to manage within an international organization and global team
