SBU Manager Savory

 

Position: Strategic Business Unit Manager, Savory

 

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates


Reporting into: Marketing Director, IMA, Taste & Beyond

 

Key Responsibilities:


•    Lead and drive Savory segment in IMA from a business development/marketing perspective with a focus on priority categories; Drive strategy into execution by putting together a regional implementation plan for the segment; Deliver the innovation targets for the segment against company strategy
•    Category Management; Manage regional marketing support in the form of innovation days, gallery walks etc. to identified key customers in the segment including KGA's and have a deep understanding of consumer insights / needs in the segment including white spaces to be able to drive innovations / product development against those.
•    Manage all projects with excellence (working closely with commercial and technical teams to ensure relevant, consumer-oriented product development).
•    Position Firmenich as the partner to count on for competitive added value market knowledge, brand understanding, inspiration and winning flavor solutions.
•    Segment Business Development; Build and drive the segment strategy for the region and Identify business development opportunities proactively with cluster teams - in particular marketing and sales - for planning of Innovation Days and Promotions.  
•    Review our business revenues/margins/vitality at segment level to take corrective actions. Share & promote successes; Be the regional contact for the roll-out of global segment initiatives. Adapt global solutions for zonal relevance. Raise zonal needs to global teams; Secure segment profitability through analysis of monthly sales and vitality measures.

 

We value:


•    University graduate preferably in Business Administration or Marketing. Post Graduate in Business Management is preferred. 
•    Solid experience minimum 5 years in Marketing / Business Development in Business to Business environment ; Product / portfolio management experience is a plus.
•    Strategic thinking capability, visionary, forward looking mindset; Curious about consumer insights / changing consumer behaviors / trends to drive unmet needs into business opportunities.  
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiastic and open-minded.
•    Good coaching and managerial skills.
•    Fluent in English.
