Executive Instrumentation


Location: Dahej, (Gujarat), INDIA



Key Responsibilities:


  • DCS and PLC architecture, operation, wiring and programming. Responsible to trouble shoot and attend problems related to field instruments and automation. Lead departmental work force to coordinate with inter and intra department teams, plan and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Hazardous area classification & it’s application in Instrumentation selection and installation. Responsible for Inventory control, Spare management, OPEX material procurement and Vendor coordination
  • Prepare AMC schedule and ensure AMC work is done as per departmental requirement. Ensure all the deviations / problems attended after or during  AMC work. PM planning, resource arrangement and coordination with production team for the PM of instruments. Ensure that PM of instruments is completed as per PM schedule.
  • Thorough knowledge on Calibration & Maintenance field instruments like Flow transmitters, Level transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Temperature transmitters, Analytical instruments, weigh scales, tank weighing systems, Safety Instruments, Valves etc.  
  • Responsible for new process modifications or new project:  Prepare maintenance SOP and give training to Instrument technicians.
  • Thorough  knowledge of working principles of field instruments commonly used in chemical plant and detailed configuration needed for the healthy functioning of the instruments
