HR Senior Manager

Location: Parma, potentially Milan, Italy with frequent travels between both sites

 

This position is a challenging HR Senior Manager role being responsible for leading the HR function and team in Italy. Covering two different sites in Italy in Parma and Milan and all functions of Firmenich, this position will partner with the Business to ensure business impact using the full scope of HR services, such as HR yearly processes, Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Recruitment and Employee Relations processes with a continuous improvement mindset. This position will also lead the HR integration of a recently acquired company, Campus, driving cultural change, implementing new processes with adequate adaptations as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Act as a business partner and as an active member of both leadership teams in Milan and Parma.
•    Design and implement the HR integration strategy, from a cultural standpoint as well as organization design, processes and tools.
•    Coach business leaders and people and acts as a soundboard for the leadership team in implementation of Local HR Strategy.
•    Within Firmenich strategy, lead the HR strategy for the country, finding a smart balance between individualization and efficiency, taking into account the different population on site, from Manufacturing to Sales to enablers functions
•    Be creative and bold when it comes to defining new ways of working to ensure efficiency and impact.
•    Lead the Diversity and Belonging strategy partnering with the business.
•    Drive all employee lifecycle processes ensuring governance and compliance within the local legislation.
•    Establish and maintain HR partnerships with employees and with the Business & Management Team Members.
•    Support employee relations issues in line with Firmenich Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
•    Lead and manage specific European or Global projects within the Human Resources area.

 

We value:
•    A Bachelor's degree in Labor relations, Business Administration or Economics with Human Resources specialization.
•    Approximately 10 years of related experience within HR and manufacturing sites.
•    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
•    Experience in process improvement.
•    Strong ability to influence and drive HR excellence with local management
•    Strong communication skills at different levels, having the ability to deal with ambiguity.
•    Excellent Italian/English, written and verbal. Other languages are a plus.
•    Experience in an international and matrix environment.
