Plant Controlling Manager Campus Group is accountable for operations financial performance, integrating finance operations, forecasting, budgeting, preparing financial reports and ensuring organizational financial stability. Supporting Campus Group operations whilst playing an independent ‘challenger role’ with Local Plant Management.


The Plant Controlling Manager will be the business partner of Campus Plant Managers, work closely with Campus Group Business Controllers, Regional Controller Taste Europe and Cluster & Ops Controller Savory.

Active contributor to TTH Finance Operations team, this figure will play a key role in the coordination of the costing and operations performance tracking with the regional business organization. The position will report to the Regional Controller Taste Europe with dotted line to Cluster & Ops Controller Savory.

Your key responsibilities

1. Business Support

  • This position is the “single point of contact” for the Plant management team in providing the necessary business support required in all aspects of supply chain related activities such as management of expenses, Capex, working capital optimization, cost savings, productivity improvements and other local initiatives and strategies.

 

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Provide the performance on a detailed monthly variance analysis (COGS + all variances).
  • Monitor the monthly inventories trend evolution and support the local Plant management team in identifying issues and executing the actions plans identified / agreed, to optimize or reduce the plant inventories holding.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Budget and Forecast data feeding for consolidation at Affiliate level
  • Annually review of product costing allocation keys and to ensure compliance with the Standard Rules & Guidelines.

 

3. Financial Accounting

  • Pertains to the support rendered to the accounting community in relation to the monthly period-end closing activities and audit preparation.
  • Participate to Period End Closing (PEC), particularly on Cogs and inventories provision.
  • Ensure proper internal control environment and ensuring compliance to all corporate policies.
  • Propose continuous improvement on plant processes and information systems (SAP Business One mainly)

You bring

  • Professionally qualified or University Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 5 + years’ work experience in Manufacturing cost accounting / Controlling / Plant Finance.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills, interpret financial information, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with ability to build rapport and collaborative working relationship with all levels.
  • Ability to challenge, to lead discussions, influence ideas and convey opinions at Executive meetings.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapting to changing while maintaining focus on key financial goals and objectives.
  • SAP knowledge is mandatory. Experience in SAP implementation and Plant controlling, setting product costing in SAP or other ERP.
