Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (remote until further notice)



Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory monitoring including Mercosur countries, Chile and Bolivia and provide advice to the business;
  • Represent Firmenich in local associations;
  • Develop and maintain specific subject matter expertise and support innovations team and business, including label advise, where appropriate;
  • Collaborate with business and customers on strategic projects as well as work in Regulatory projects and make training/presentations to internal and external clients;
  • Proactively suggests improvements to the upper management and solutions to the business for regulatory concerns;
  • Translate and Cascade Global Regulatory strategy to the operational level, including training for the Documentation Center, sales, FDMs, Perfumers, flavorists, technical area and Clients, where appropriate.




  • Bachelor´s degree in Engineer on Food, Chemistry, Biologist or Nutritionist
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of regulatory experience in Food Ingredients preferred, experience in adjacent industries will be considered. Knowledge in the Flavors industry advantageous;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills;
  • Fluent English & Spanish.
