Transformation Senior Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the framing, launching and managing transformation projects working very closely with the involved Business and supporting functions in transforming their Operating model
  • Support the design and implementation of the To-Be Operating Model connecting the 6 dimensions: Process, Data, Technology, Behaviors, Governance and Organization & Talent
  • Analyze the pain points, internal data insights, external industry market trends and best practices and provide recommendations of how to enhance the overall performance of the End to End processes to enable transformation ambition  
  • Identify transformation opportunities to continue building the Mid/Long term Transformation pipeline.
  • Support in the preparation of the Transformation Steering Committee where Senior leaders of all the functions/business are involved
  • Lead transformation projects and its reporting of status (vs plan, scope, budget & benefit case). Proactive Communication and updates on the progress/achievements to the Transformation Program Lead
  • Ensure consensus across multiple layers at the Firmenich Organization and drive proactively the change and communication.


We value:

  • 5 years successful track record in leading transformation Projects in customer facing business processes or enabling functions.
  • Must Have functional understanding of the Regulatory constraints along the Product Lifecycle. Valuable knowledge in Product Portfolio Management and Certification, Regulatory Affairs, PLM, traceability, Supply Chain, Procurement
  • International & corporate experience ideally in the F&F industry or in a F&F clients, having started the professional career in business consulting running projects for B2B companies. 
  • Strong business acumen, flexibility, team spirit, growth mindset and creativity to come with “out of the box” solutions 
  • Effective Change Leader with outstanding communication skills at all levels, capability to influence key stakeholders and able to build alliances and partnerships to drive results.
  • Team Management skills including managing project team members not directly reporting to the role. 
  • Technologically savvy with experience in implementing digital solutions
  • Professional English a must;  French a plus.
