Regional Capacity Planning Director

A critical leadership role in regional planning that will own the end-to-end planning process and orchestration and be accountable for driving planning capability improvement with better service to enable growth for our business.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Operational Leadership –  Identify and drive the fundamental changes necessary to orient planning team behaviours towards customer needs; build, motivates and lead the planning community in line with Firmenich core values;
•    Risk management – Improve our capability in managing supply chain risk, managing variability through plans to surge material and capacity capabilities whilst optimizing asset utilization
•    Complexity – Develop and improve the process roadmap to manage the supply chain complexity, minimize the service, cost and productivity loss
•    Operational Excellence – Lead implementation of a performance-driven culture by implementing Continuous Improvement/Lean principles and concepts.
•    Sustainability – overall planning capability building to ensure long-term success (organizational capability, process capability and tools capability)
•    People - Identify, retain & develop key talents


We Value:

•    A minimum of bachelor’s degree with 10+ years working experience in supply chain and 7+ years working in a similar role
•    Planning Expertise, E2E supply chain understanding, including procurement/logistics/manufacturing, could make the appropriate recommendations with complex trade-off management between different SC Functions
•    SAP Experience, including SAP ECC system and CRM system; advanced planning system experience with at least one of APO/IBP/O9/Kinaxis, APICS-CPIM or similar certification preferred
•    Strong Finance & Costing understanding, know the costing flow through all the supply chain goods flow, understand financial implications with trade-off management, and drive the decisions with the best short/long term financial results
