Trade Compliance Assistant

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Key Responsibilities:

• The role of a Global Trade Compliance Assistant is to evaluate and ensure compliance for all purchased, manufactured and sold materials when crossing a border and according to rules described by customs authorities, trade entities and regulatory agencies.
• You will be helping the Trade Compliance Manager  ensure compliance of customs classification of raw materials, flavoring compositions and perfumery compositions with daily requests from internal stakeholders.
• Your manager will guide you to help on customs classification changes to be implemented and how to communicate them to all stakeholders involved, including upper management.
• You will participate in the implementation of new regulations for substances, globally.

We value:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry. Good knowledge of Organic Chemistry is desirable.
• First experience in a similar role will be highly appreciated.
• High level of English mandatory. Other languages will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Trade Compliance will be a plus.
• Great communication, fast-learning and trust-building skills.
• Strong sense of team spirit.
