IT Operations Technical Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops and evolves Operational standards and requirements for the service assurance (run) of the existing Infra environment and DC Technologies and able to work closely with Engineering/service owners.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the network and IT infrastructure landscape.
  • Participate and support in team projects and project/technology transition related with Network improvements services as participate actively in Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Life-cycle Management Processes.
  • Identify and resolve critical issues and complex problem cases along with analytical troubleshooting acumen and business and/or client focused.
  • Familiar working in a data center environment and able to analyze problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery.
  • Creation of network Operational documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.

  • 10+  years of experience in Network Engineering, Deployments and leading position.
  • Layer 2 & 3: VLAN, ARP, L2 switching, VLAN, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, Broadcast, NAT, IPv4/IPv6, VRRP/HSRP/GLBP, BFD, VRF, Routing, Anycast / Unicast / Multicast, GRE and IPsec, MPLS, BGP, OSPF.
  • Strong experience with business continuity concepts and design techniques as applied to Network.  Environments and related disaster recovery planning and testing. Ability to think strategically, research and develop innovative Network solutions while possessing a strong bias for action to realize tangible results.
  • Possesses exceptional communication and documentation skills to be able to interact professionally and work productively with all levels of employees acting as a team player with extensive track record in technical mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve Business Information Services (IBS) practices, procedures and/or IT Application landscape support.
