HR Manager, Mobility CoE, EU&HQ&Americas

 

 

Location: Barcelona, Spain


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage short-term and long-term assignees and permanent transfers during the whole relocation & assignment life cycle, in alignment with business needs, mobility guidelines, talent policy, group strategy and in compliance with the legal framework and statutory compliance requirements of the involved countries. 
  • Be the main point of contact in mobility situations for the business leaders, transferees/assignees, local HR, payroll teams, talent teams and external global mobility vendors (tax, immigration, relocation). 
  • Act as a subject matter expert in projects implying relocation of workforce and advising on international mobility aspects such as immigration, international taxation, compensation structure, benefits, social schemes, pension plans, health coverage, cost allocations, currency issues, etc.
  • Discuss with business to understand context & needs in order to propose the most relevant mobility package or options. Prepare and present transfer proposals incl. cost projections (cost-to-company comparative), net-for-employee (comparative), assignment letters and employment offers, compensation statements, etc. 
  • Participate in local and global processes linked to transferees / assignees, such as budget, annual compensation review, CPI, actions in our HR systems, assist for proper payroll & recharge execution.
  • Identifies, suggests and implements ongoing process improvement for the mobility programs.

  • Minimum 5 years of mobility management experience as an HR professional within a company and / or a Mobility consultant in a Big4 firm or equivalent.
  • Finance and tax aptitudes; understanding and handling international tax situations; understanding figures and analytical aspects; attentive to detail. Knowledge in compensation and benefits area will be considered an advantage. 
  • Understanding and navigating in a global matrix environment and processes. Business acumen. Knowledge in HR tools like SAP HR / Success Factors, understanding of HR processes and systems, Office 365. 
  • Ability to manage priorities and to deliver results within short deadlines; good planning and organization skills; service oriented, good emotional intelligence to manage appropriately the various actors and aspects involved in Mobility; excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation), influential and interpersonal skills; team player, valuing diversity & inclusiveness.
  • Professional English is a must, other language will be considered an advantage.
