Global Packaging Machine Engineer


Location: Open to -  Spain, Barcelona or Brussels, Belgium or Sharnbrook, United Kingdom


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Develop and implement End-of-Line Packaging standards for our flavor & perfumes production lines
  • As Global Technology Owner provide expertise to Project teams for Line upgrades and new line installations
  • Lead smart automation roadmap for manual lines
  • Leverage innovative technical solutions (i.e. cobots) to drive cost & ergonomy improvements
  • Develop and implement standards to ensure integrated product integrity & traceability
  • Lead development for flexible use of formats and enabling alternative packaging solutions “ zero plastic waste” 
  • Lead improvement of hygienic design and implementation of AM/PM standards for Packaging equipment
  • Create and lead Packaging community of practice across the cross-functional, cross-regional team
  • Technology scouting and identification of strategic equipment suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing

We value:


  • Master degree in packaging or mechanical engineering. 
  • More than 15 years of experience in FMCG, Food or Fragrance & Flavors industry. 
  • Experience in defining & implementing  End of Line Packaging equipment for liquid and powders.
  • Strong Know-how in Continuous Improvement, Lean principles (SMED, AM/PM, Hygienic Design, Ergonomy)
  • Know-how in key packaging solutions and materials
  • Experience in working within an international environment, fluent in English
  • Leadership skills with ability to build relationship in cross-functional and remote set-up.
