Global Workplace Solutions VP European Facilities

Location: Open to be based in any European affiliate

 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • As a senior leader within Firmenich and member of the Global Workplace Solutions leadership team you will play a key role in building our organizational capabilities and service models on a global basis. You will drive consistency, performance and innovation through the adoption and development of industry best practice in critical areas such as digitalization and user experience
  • Responsible for the operational management of all Firmenich facilities and facility services across the European region
  • Ensures ongoing compliance and the effective management of business risks related to all facilities within the region.         
  • Accountable for management and control of multimillion CHF cost base across the region ensuring both Opex & Capex budgets are well managed in line with expectations.
  • Development and long-term improvement of new workplaces & services to meet future needs of the growing Firmenich business and the changing needs and expectations of our employees.
  • Responsible for the establishment of asset strategies and 5-year investment plans supporting the development and sustenance of our property portfolio
  • Leadership of a multinational team of facility and workplace managers distributed across the region delivering cost effective and value add support and services to the regional business functions.                                                                                                                                                  

 
We value:

 

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Workplace Development, Business Management, Finance or other equivalent areas of expertise 
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in senior leadership position working internationally
  • Strategic thinker and strong communicator able influence across organizational, cultural and international boundaries 
  • Excellent collaborator and strong leader with well-developed people skills able to coach, motivate and inspire teams
  • Experienced in delivering significant change within an organization, able to be creative, flexible, and solve problems
  • Independent, self-motivated, resilient and possess a positive attitude
